Mission Tavern is a family-owned and operated neighborhood tavern that’s been serving up great food, cold drinks, and nonstop fun since opening in February 2017.
We’re known as the local go-to spot for fantastic burgers, house-made French fries, crave-worthy sammiches, and brick-oven pizza, all served by a super friendly staff that makes everyone feel like part of the family. Our menu stays fresh too—we change it twice a year and feature daily food specials alongside weekly drink specials, so there’s always something new to try.

We’re incredibly proud to have been voted Best Crosslake Restaurant—and we’re not even in Crosslake. That recognition means the world to us because it comes from the community we love and support.
Happenings
At Mission Tavern, there truly is always something happening. We host meat raffles every Tuesday and Sunday, and a full lineup of events that keep the place buzzing year-round. Fall brings our popular Ride & Roast, a motorcycle ride followed by a pig roast, and in the winter, the snowmobile trail runs right in front of the tavern, making us a favorite stop for riders.

Community Involvement
Community involvement is at the heart of what we do. From pet adoption events, fire department fundraisers, and Trunk-or-Treat to huge St. Patrick’s Day parties, bachelor and bachelorette celebrations, and our annual golf tournament that benefits the community, Mission Tavern is proud to be a gathering place that gives back.
